By now charred remains would of disintegrated (or at the very least been covered by forest and debris). If you go up there just be warned - there&#039;s nothing there to see. Its even worse now since they started logging up there. The old Keweenaw Central right-of-way has been widened to the size of a road, and the old railroad ties that once still sat in the ground have been torn up. Its actually lost a lot of its charm since the first time I went up there.</description>

		<description>Hello Explorer.  Crestview actually ran from 1909 until it burned to the ground in 1925.  It was very popular during its hayday.  Monette&#039;s book covers it pretty well.  Never been to the site myself, but probably later this summer.</description>
